One of my moody landscapes. My landscapes are created at the time of painting. They grow on the canvas. These paintings are not based on real places. This was painted when I was living with Walt and Nancy.
One of my moody landscapes which many people love and want to purchase. It is called Suicide Marsh because when a therapist saw its bleakness and lack of life, she became worried about my suicidal tendencies. She made me promise to call her before taking such dramatic action. Although I’ve had suicidal thoughts most of my adult life, her concern was really unwarranted since core spiritual beliefs will deter me from such an act. However, I always remember her reaction to this painting and have fondly called it Suicide Marsh. oil 1987-89 texasoil 1983, Indiana [b]
